About
Nice to meet you, I’m Nico.
Under the name “Nico’s Room,” I’m creating every day with the dream of sharing my brand with the world.
My real name is Rie, and the Spanish word “sonríe” means “to smile.”
Since it reminds me of “nico nico” (the Japanese onomatopoeia for smiling), I chose Nico as my artist name.
I hope to bring a smile to everyone who holds one of my creations — that wish is also part of this name.
I grew up in an international environment and cherish the values I have as a Christian.
I love colorful things, and unique fashion or interior design that shows a bit of personality.
Most of my works carry a gentle message.
My goal is to create pieces that warm your heart just by looking at them.
Since I always dreamed of having “my own room” as a child,
and I wanted to invite everyone into my world,
I added the word “room” to my brand name.
Please open the door and step into the world of my creations.
I still have much to learn, but someday,
I hope to become an artist loved by people of all ages—
like Anpanman, PEANUTS, or Ado-chan. 🌼
